Asian Equities Opened Mostly Positive, Key Policy Decisions Awaits

Asian equities mostly positive on Tuesday as trades continues to assess the impact on economic recovery amid surging COVID-19 cases.

TOPIX inched up by 0.52% with Bank of Japan to announce interest rate later today.

KOSPI inched down by 0.21% while Hang Seng gained 0.39%.

CSI 300 and Shenzen Composite Index is up by 0.61% and 0.05% respectively. The Chinese central bank earlier lowered the rate on its one-year policy loans by 10 basis points to 2.85% and cut the rate on the seven-day reverse repurchase agreements to 2.1% from 2.2%.

Meanwhile, central banks in Indonesia, Malaysia, Norway, Turkey, and Ukraine will announce their policy decisions on Thursday.
