PSG Gains 6.6% after Signing an MOU to Explore Opportunities in Renewable Energy Export

The share price of PSG rose 6.67% on Friday after signing a an MOU to jointly explore opportunities in renewable energy export from Lao People’s Democratic Republic to Singapore

PSG Corporation Public Company Limited (mai: PSG) announced on October 27 that the company and Keppel Energy Pte Ltd (KE) (a subsidiary) of Keppel Infrastructure Holdings Pte Ltd, have signed an exclusive and binding memorandum of understanding to jointly explore opportunities in renewable energy export from the Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR) to Singapore (the MOU).

The Lao PDR and Singapore had signed an earlier agreement on September 28, 2022, whereby the company and KE were officially nominated/supported by the governments of Lao PDR and Singapore, respectively. The company and KE were nominated to study the development, implementation, and operations of selected pumped storage hydroelectric and solar power generation facilities in Lao PDR with respect to the export of renewable energy to Singapore.
