China Imposes Lockdown around iPhone’s Factory ‘Foxconn’ amid Surging Covid-19 Cases

The Chinese government announced a fresh lockdown at an industrial park which houses an major’s iPhone factory, Foxconn, after seeing a surge in Covid-19 cases.

A 7-day lockdown measure had been imposed since the afternoon of Wednesday. All residents are restricted to go out with some exceptions being approved for vehicles on roads within that area. The lockdown will end on November 9, 2022.
