Goertek Vina Company Limited, a leading manufacturer of electronic products, network equipment and multi-media sound products, recently received the Investment Registration Certificate (IRC) from the People’s Committee of Nghe An Province, to increase its investment for its manufacturing plant located at WHA Industrial Zone 1 – Nghe An. Construction of Goertek Vina Phase 1, which started on January 21, 2021 just 3 months after the first IRC was issued, is now complete. Operations are expected to start in June 2022, creating 30,000 jobs.
Goertek’s decision to increase its capital in the Nghe An plant from 100 to 500 million USD will enable it to introduce high-tech production lines to further boost its productivity. This FDI project represents the largest investment capital in Nghe An today. The Goertek manufacturing plant is expected to become a model that can attract other investors to the province and the region, and promote growth, job creation and economic restructuring.
