Unique Engineering and Construction Public Company Limited (SET: UNIQ) has informed the Stock Exchange of Thailand that on July 1, 2025, U-ASI Joint Venture, including Unique Engineering and Construction Public Company Limited, and Asitakij Company Limited, has signed the contract with the Royal Irrigation Department for the construction of water distribution canal with associated structures Contract 7 Bang Ban – Bang Sai Canal project, Ayutthaya Province.
The scope of the project encompasses a construction of a flood drainage canal with related structures, comprising: excavation of the flood drainage canal from KM 0+150 to KM 0+600; construction of protection dam from KM 0+000 to KM 0+150; expansion and relocation of the electricity distribution system, including installation of transformers and complete accessories in accordance with the Provincial Electricity Authority’s standards; as well as temporary pumping operations during construction.
The contract has a total value of THB 849,700,000.00 (Included VAT), with UNIQ earning THB 467,335,000.00 (Included VAT), as the company holds 55% stake in the JV. The project has a duration of 1,080 days.
