Thai Stock Market Outlook on 9 July 2025

On Wednesday, Tisco Securities expects the Thai market to trade sideways as the market is still pressured by the U.S. tariff measures. Recently, President Donald Trump announced a 50% tariff on copper and 200% on pharmaceuticals, still, the details are unclear.

Domestically, the SET Index still lacks supporting factors, the securities firm recommends investors closely monitor listed companies 2Q25 earning reports, as well as today’s Federal Reserve meeting.

However, today’s trade volume may weaken as investors are trading cautiously and tomorrow is a national holiday.

The firm set a resistance level for the SET Index at 1,130 and a support level at 1,100-1,110 points for today’s session.

Yesterday, Thailand’s SET Index closed at 1,115.65 points, decreased 7.35 points or 0.65% with a trading value of THB 29.53 billion.
