BTS Group Holdings Public Company Limited (SET: BTS), led by Mr. Marut Arthakaivalvatee, Vice Chairman of VGI PCL (SET: VGI); Mr. Weng Sam Lam, Chief Executive Officer of ROCTEC Global PCL (SET: ROCTEC); Mr. Ian Craig Longden, Chief Executive Officer of Super Turtle PCL (SET: TURTLE); Ms. Soraya Satiangoset, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Rabbit Holdings PCL (SET: RABBIT) ; Mr. Sumit Srisantithum, Chief Operating Officer of Bangkok Mass Transit System PCL (BTSC); and Ms. Sinattha Kiewkhong, Investor Relations and Sustainability Director of BTS, jointly handed out 4,500 air-purifying plants and coffee grounds through the “Clean Air We Share” activity on the occasion of the International Day of Clean Air for Blue Skies and to celebrate BTS SkyTrain having reached 4.5 billion cumulative passenger trips, at BTS Siam Station (CEN).
To encourage participation to people across Bangkok, the distribution of air-purifying plants was also expanded to three other stations: Phrom Phong Station (E5), Ha Yaek Lat Phrao Station (N9), and Wat Phra Sri Mahathat Station (N17). The activity drew great interest from passengers and the public, allowing us to contribute in the reduction air pollution while increasing green spaces to move toward a low-carbon society, as well as encouraging the general public to pay attention to climate change and to help create a sustainable future for the environment.
