Mr. Rapee Phongbupakicha, Chairman of the Board of Directors of TEAM Consulting Engineering and Management Public Company Limited (SET: TEAMG), stated that recently, Ministry of Finance’s Public Debt Management Office (PDMO), the central agency that determines the standard rates for consulting services, has established new standard pricing guidelines for hiring consultants to be more suitable to the prevailing economic and social factors.
PDMO have sent official notices to Permanent Secretaries, Director-Generals, Secretaries-General, Directors, the Governor of Bangkok, Mayor of Pattaya City, heads of state enterprises, local administrators, and heads of other state agencies, requiring all state agencies to comply with the new standards starting from the fiscal year 2026 onwards.
The adjustment of the standard pricing for consulting services will have a positive effect on TEAMG’s revenue, especially for engineering and architectural consulting services—the company’s main business—which will see the standard rates increase by about 14%. The company operates in engineering, architectural, and environmental consulting, covering project feasibility studies, design, report preparation, project management, construction supervision, project construction, and environmental impact assessment reporting.
“TEAMG is one of the country’s leading consulting firms, with over 47 years of experience in large-scale government projects, mostly related to infrastructure such as railway networks, mass transit systems, roads, airports and port development, as well as large-scale hydroelectric dams. Most recently, the company and its partners were selected as the surveyor and designer for Phuket International Airport Phase 2 with Airports of Thailand PCL (SET: AOT), a project valued at THB 200 million. The company and its partners have also been appointed as surveyor and designer for the Mae Fah Luang International Airport Phase 1 development project with AOT. Therefore, the adjustment of the new standard pricing guidelines for consulting services will greatly benefit the company,” said Mr. Raphee.
Nevertheless, in terms of operational performance, TEAMG continues to show a consistent growth trend, having secured more work than targeted in both consulting and related businesses, such as Engineering Procurement & Construction (EPC). The company’s outstanding backlog, as of August 2025, stands at THB 5.4 billion, and newly secured projects in 2025 amount to over THB 2.9 billion, up 85% compared to the first 9 months of 2024.
