SC Asset Corporation Public Company Limited (SET: SC) has notified the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) of a significant change in its major shareholding structure, effective 1 October 2025. The change follows the acquisition of ordinary shares by Miss Paetongtarn Shinawatra, resulting in her holding a 28.43% stake in the company.
Under the transaction, Miss Shinawatra acquired 1,216,149,870 ordinary shares, which were transferred from Kiatnakin Phatra Asset Management Company Limited and Land and Houses Fund Management Company Limited. The transfer was carried out in accordance with the Prime Minister’s asset management requirements under the Ministerial Shareholding Management Act B.E. 2543 (2000).
As of 30 September 2025, prior to the transaction:
Kiatnakin Phatra Asset Management Company Limited held 1,026,149,870 shares (23.99%).
Land and Houses Fund Management Company Limited held 190,000,000 shares (4.44%).
Following the transfer, both asset management companies no longer hold shares in the company. Paetongtarn Shinawatra now holds the entire 1,216,149,870 shares, equivalent to 28.43% of the company’s total issued shares.
Despite this change in major shareholding, the company emphasized that the restructuring does not affect its control, business operation policies, or the structure of its board of directors and management.
