CP AXTRA Public Company Limited (SET: CPAXT), the operator of Makro and Lotus’s, has joined hands with the Australian Embassy and Austrade and Invest New South Wales, South Australia Department of State Development and Western Australian Investment and Trade Office to host the “Taste of Australia” festival, reinforcing its position as a “Fresh & Food Destination” for world-class ingredients.
The launch event at Makro South Pattaya was attended by senior representatives including Ms. Amelia Walsh Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner and Minister – Counsellor (Commercial), Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade), Ms. Thipwadee Suwanying Senior Business Development Manage (Austade), along with officials from Investment NSW, Department for Trade and Investment (DTI), South Australia, and Invest and Trade Western Australia. CP AXTRA Executives, led by Ms. Ekthida Seriratwiphachai, Mr. Somnuk Yoddumnern, and Ms. Amaraluck Lamul Director – Sales & Operations, welcomed the delegation.
Highlights of the festival included live cooking demonstrations by Chef Chop Nitchakan Namsapcharoenchai, supported by Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA). Signature dishes such as Pomegranate Braised Lamb Fore-shank, Thai-style Beef Knuckle Curry, and Roasted Beef Salad with Jeaw-mayo Sauce showcased premium Australian beef and lamb.
Beyond the kitchen, shoppers can explore a wide range of imported products, from Tasmanian salmon, lamb, and beef to Aussie-style meat pies, yogurts, cheeses, and fresh produce such as mandarins, strawberries, avocados, lemons, carrots, celery, and salad greens. A variety of Australian beverages are also featured.
The “Taste of Australia” festival runs from September 25–28 at Makro South Pattaya, October 24–26 at Makro Sathorn and continues with exclusive promotions nationwide until October 28, 2025.
