Samart Corporation Public Company Limited (SET: SAMART) has informed the Stock Exchange of Thailand that Teda Co., Ltd. (TEDA), a subsidiary which 94.35% stakeholding held by Samart U-Trans Co., Ltd., has signed a Consortium Agreement with Italthai Engineering Co., Ltd. and The Consortium of Shanghai Electric Group Company Limited & Future Electrical Control Company Limited under the name of “The Consortium of TEDA and ITE and the Consortium of SEC & FEC” in the proportion of 41.10%, 38.96% and 19.95%, respectively.
The Consortium of TEDA and ITE and the Consortium of SEC & FEC have received the letter of award of contract with EGAT for Supply and Construction of 230/115 kV Nakhon Si Thammarat Substation (GIS) and Improvement of 230 kV Khanom, 230 kV Thung Song, 230 kV Phatthalung and 115 kV Chian Yai Substations High Voltage Substation Improvement in the Southern Area for Terrorism and Flood Protection September 15, 2025.
Total value of the contract is THB 1,630,736,916.92 (calculated by the exchange rate as of Bid Opening date) with the contract value ratio as follows:
Teda Co., Ltd. Valued THB 670,163,282.35.
Italthai Engineering Co., Ltd. Valued THB 635,257,122.17.
The Consortium of Shanghai Electric Group Company Limited & Future Electrical Control Company Limited Valued THB 325,316,512.40.
The scheduled completion date of this construction will be 24 months after confirmation of the letter of award of contract. Moreover, TEDA will prepare the concerned documents for the signing contract process.
