Jasmine International Pcl announced that its subsidiary, Jasmine Submarine Telecommunications Co. Ltd. (JSTC), has received payment from National Telecom Pcl (NT) in compliance with a Supreme Administrative Court ruling.
The company stated that NT deposited a sum of THB 5,066,313,874.99, along with a withholding tax certificate amounting to THB 70,590,913.14, with the Central Administrative Court on October 9, 2025.
This payment concludes a legal process following the Supreme Administrative Court’s judgment, according to the company.
Soraj Asavaprapha, Chief Executive Officer of Jasmine International, stated earlier that the THB 5 billion JAS won from the NT lawsuit, which took over 17 years (more than THB 2.3 billion principal plus interest), this sum will not be used to offset the costs of EPL broadcast rights.
Since the EPL project is self-sustaining, the amount will be allocated in three ways: (1) payout of a special dividend to shareholders, (2) cash reserve for financial stability, and (3) investment in new businesses or workforce restructuring.
