BCPG Reports 57% Profit Growth in 3Q25, Aims to Expand Robust Investment Portfolio

Rawee Boonsinsukh, CEO and President of BCPG Public Company Limited (SET: BCPG), revealed that the company recorded a core profit of THB 711.6 million in Q3/2025, a 57.4% increase from the previous year and a 442.7% increase from Q2/2025. The company also reported a net profit of THB 626.0 million.

The strong performance was mainly driven by higher electricity generation from BCPG’s hydropower plants in Laos, which resulted from the longer rainy season, as well as profit contributions from the natural gas power plants in the United States, which received a capacity revenue of USD 270 per MW per day throughout the quarter. This rate will continue until May 2026 before increasing to USD 329 per MW per day for the following year.

“This quarter marks a new record high for BCPG with the highest operating profit in our history. It demonstrates the company’s solid business fundamentals and strong capability in managing clean energy projects across multiple countries, while continuously expanding into new businesses for sustainable growth,” said Rawee.

In addition, the 600-MW Monsoon Wind Power Project in Laos, which exports electricity to Vietnam, commenced commercial operations this quarter. The project will start contributing additional revenue and profit from this year onward, despite a small initial loss due to partial operations during the off-season. Meanwhile, BCPG is in the process of acquiring a 99-MW wind power plant in Vietnam, which is expected to be completed within 2025, strengthening its regional renewable energy portfolio and supporting long-term growth.

“BCPG remains committed to driving clean energy development while delivering sustainable returns to our shareholders. The significant growth in this quarter reinforces our position as a leading renewable energy company in the region and drives us toward stronger and more sustainable growth in the future,” Rawee concluded.
