Central Plaza Hotel Public Company Limited (SET: CENTEL) has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Central Restaurants Group Co., Ltd. (CRG), has secured approval to acquire a 40% stake in Miracle Planet Co., Ltd. (MP). MP is known for operating the expanding buffet-style Suki and BBQ brands “Lucky Suki” and “Lucky BBQ,” running 38 outlets as of 31 October 2025.
This significant strategic investment totals approximately 940 million baht. For investors, it is relevant to note that the funding will come entirely from CRG’s internal cash flow from operation. The valuation of MP’s ordinary shares was determined based on the Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) method. Upon completion, CRG will hold 140,000 shares, representing 40% of the total registered shares of MP.
The key rationale driving this move is CRG’s belief that the buffet-style Suki restaurant sector holds substantial growth potential. CRG aims to provide critical support to MP for business expansion, as well as enhancing back office operation and technology know-how. This partnership is expected to create synergy, leading to improved operation efficiency and business goal success.
The completion and share transfer for this transaction are anticipated within December 2025.
