Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (SET: THAI) has informed the Stock Exchange of Thailand that five shareholders of the company have filed a lawsuit against the company as the defendant with the Civil Court, seeking the cancellation of the resolutions passed at the 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, as well as submitting a petition for temporary injunction prior to the court’s judgment.
The court has considered the petition for temporary injunction and issued an order directing the registrar of public limited companies to suspend the registration and any amendments to the company particulars pursuant to the resolutions of the company’s 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders.
Furthermore, the Court has prohibited the directors approved under the resolution of the meeting from acting on behalf of the company in the capacity of the company’s director until the court has ordered otherwise.
In this regard, the company is in the process of considering taking legal action for revocation of such court’s order as well as other appropriate course of action. The company will inform any significant developments on this matter through the SET.
