Ms. Sansana Sukhanunth, Executive Vice President of Kasikornbank Public Company Limited (SET: KBANK), and Mr. Allen Forlemu, International Finance Corporation (IFC) Regional Industry Director, Financial Institutions Group, Asia & Pacific, a member of the World Bank Group, recently signed a USD 100 million Green Bond Subscription Agreement to accelerate investment in environmentally friendly projects.
The funding will be used to support KBANK’s green financing and investment initiatives. This partnership will enhance clients’ business capabilities in adopting low-carbon technologies that help reduce greenhouse gas emissions, strengthen global competitiveness, and offer Thais greater access to green lifestyles, ultimately driving Thailand towards its Net Zero target.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by Dr. Karin Boonlertvanich, KBANK Executive Vice President, and Ms. Jane Yuan Xu, IFC Country Manager, Thailand and Myanmar, at KBANK, Head Office, Phahon Yothin Building.
