The signing was led by Mr. Noppadol Watthakovit (center), Regional Head – ASEAN North, along with Dr. Tianchai Dawanwong (left), Assistant General Manager of OOCL Logistics. The renewed partnership builds on the success of container yard operations at Laem Chabang Port and extends into a new strategic area at the Lat Krabang ICD—Thailand’s most critical logistics hub supporting the continued growth of importers and exporters.
The extension of the partnership agreement with OOCL Logistics, a global shipping and logistics service provider, further reflects its strong confidence in MPJ’s capabilities. Under the agreement, MPJ will continue to manage container storage operations for the OOCL Group. This collaboration reinforces MPJ’s position as a leading integrated logistics provider and container yard operator across key strategic locations in Laem Chabang and Lat Krabang. Besides, the long-standing partnership with OOCL, one of the world’s leading shipping lines, also ensures a stable and consistent volume of business. This aligns with the ongoing expansion of Thailand’s import-export sector, supporting sustainable growth through recurring income while strengthening collaboration with a global partner.
In addition, MPJ has invested in the implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to elevate its operations towards fully digitalised logistics. The system enhances accuracy, speed, and management efficiency, while reinforcing long-term operational stability and demonstrating MPJ’s readiness to keep pace with the evolving AI-driven logistics landscape.
“The renewal of our partnership with OOCL Logistics marks a significant milestone that reinforces MPJ’s leadership in securing prime strategic locations at both Laem Chabang and Lat Krabang. Our continued investment in upgrading container yard technologies to support rising global trade demand is a testament to our international standards. We are well-positioned to further develop our One Stop Service model, delivering end-to-end solutions that meet future customer needs, supported by strong infrastructure and the ability to turn challenges into opportunities,” Mr. Jirasak concluded.
