GPSC’s Nava Nakorn Electricity Commences Operation of 29MW Power Plant to Bolster Energy Supply

Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (SET: GPSC) has informed the Stock Exchange of Thailand that Nava Nakorn Electricity Generating Company Limited (NNEG), a small power producer (SPP) located in the Nava Nakorn Industrial Zone, Pathum Thani Province which the company holds a 30% equity stake, commenced its commercial operation of Phase 3 expansion project with electricity generation capacity of 28.75 megawatts and steam generation capacity of 8 tons per hour on April 1, 2026 and recognized revenue under power and steam purchase agreements with industrial customers in the Nava Nakorn Industrial Zone, Pathum Thani Province since April 1, 2026.

Therefore, NNEG’s total electricity generation capacity and stream generation capacity (phase 1, phase 2 and phase 3) reached 207.75 megawatts and 48 tons per hour, respectively. This expansion aims to increase industrial energy demand and enhance reliability and efficiency of the energy supply system in the area along with future electricity supply to data center customers.

NNEG is a joint venture between GPSC, Nava Nakorn Public Company Limited (SET: NNCL) and RATCH Group Public Company Limited (SET: RATCH), with a shareholding proportion of 30, 30, and 40% respectively.
