Of this, domestic passengers are estimated at approximately 1.44 million, up by 9.3%, while international passengers are expected to be about 2.26 million, a decrease of 2.2% due to ongoing conflicts in the Middle East. Total flights stand at around 23,070, an increase of 2.6%, comprising approximately 10,918 domestic flights (up 4.5%) and 12,152 international flights (up 0.9%).

AOT is prepared in all aspects to accommodate passengers, with cooperation from both government and private agencies to ensure convenience, speed, and safety throughout the passenger process. Passenger services include self-check-in (CUSS), self-bag drop (CUBD), and biometric facial recognition (Biometric).

Additionally, designated areas for free parking during Songkran will be available at Suvarnabhumi Airport, Don Mueang Airport, Phuket Airport, and Hat Yai Airport.

Kittipong Kittikachorn, Director of Suvarnabhumi Airport, stated that during Songkran Festival from 10-19 April 2026, an estimated 1,820,000 passengers, or about 182,000 per day, will use the airport—a decrease of 1.9% from the previous year. The number of flights is expected to reach 11,000, averaging 1,100 flights per day, an increase of 4.6%. Nine airlines have requested special flights and charter services, totaling 130 flights, with the top three carriers requesting the most additional flights being AIR MACAU, Bangkok Airways (BA), and Thai Vietjet Air.

The busiest travel day is projected to be 11 April 2026.

AOT recommends that passengers use the “SAWASDEE by AOT” application, a smart assistant for checking flight status, restaurant information, shopping, and various services at the airport to enable more precise travel planning. Passengers can also choose various forms of public transportation linked to the airports—including the RED Line electric train, BMTA buses on routes A1-A4, and public taxis.

The Investment Analysts Association (IAA) has an average target price for AOT shares at 57.00 baht, while UOB Kay Hian Securities (Thailand) has set a maximum target price among all brokers of 80.00 baht.
