SAMART Signs Consortium Agreement With Sinohydro Thailand for EGAT’s THB2 Billion Transmission Project

Samart Corporation Public Company Limited (SET: SAMART) has informed the Stock Exchange of Thailand that Teda Co., Ltd. (TEDA), a subsidiary which 94.35% stakeholding held by Samart U-Trans Co., Ltd., has signed a Consortium Agreement with Sinohydro (Thailand) Co., Ltd. under the name of “The Consortium of TEDA and STC” in the proportion of 52.94:47.06.

The Consortium of TEDA and STC has received the letter of award of contract with EGAT for Supply and Construction of 500 kV Den Chai Substation (GIS) and Improvement of 500 kV Mae Moh 3 and 500 kV Tha Tako Substations Transmission System Development in the Area of Nan, Phrae and Uttaradit Provinces for Power Purchase from Lao PDR Projects, August 10, 2026. Total value of the contract is THB 2,080,714,368.75 (calculated by the exchange rate as of bid opening date) with the contract value ratio as follows:

  1. Teda Co., Ltd. (Value: THB 1,101,537,663.00).
  2. Sinohydro (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (Value: THB 979,176,705.75).

The scheduled completion date of this construction will be 24 months after confirmation of the letter of award of contract. Moreover, TEDA will prepare the concerned documents for the signing contract process.
