Thai Airways Hosts “THAI Talk” to Enhance Seamless Travel Experience and Build Lasting Customer Relationship

Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (SET: THAI) hosted “THAI Talk” to present its business plans, product and service developments, and network expansion strategy. Mr. Chai Eamsiri, THAI’s Chief Executive Officer, presided over the event, with Mr. Kittiphong Sansomboon, THAI’s Chief Commercial Officer, at THAI Head Office.

Mr. Chai Eamsiri, THAI’s Chief Executive Officer, stated, “Thai Airways has adopted a more flexible business strategy to respond to uncertainties in the global environment while maintaining financial stability and business continuity. This approach is reflected in THAI’s second-quarter performance, which recorded a net profit of THB 1,537 million.”

“In addition, THAI plans to expand its fleet and streamline its fleet structure to four aircraft types, enhancing fleet and network efficiency. At the same time, Thai Airways continues to develop its products and services, including seating, in-flight entertainment (IFE) systems, and onboard meal and beverages, to further elevate the overall passenger experience.”

Mr. Kittiphong Sansomboon, THAI’s Chief Commercial Officer, stated, “Thai Airways will operate 66 routes covering international and domestic destinations during the Winter Flight Schedule 2026/2027, from October 25, 2026 to March 27, 2027.”

“THAI will launch a new Bangkok–Da Nang route, with 14 weekly flights starting December 1, 2026. The new service will provide greater travel options for both leisure and business travelers, and support growing travel demand between Thailand and Vietnam. Da Nang is one of Vietnam’s key destination for tourism and business and economic activities.”

Furthermore, THAI will increase flight frequencies across CLMV region. Bangkok–Vientiane and Bangkok–Yangon routes will each operate 21 weekly flights, while Bangkok–Siem Reap route will operate 7 weekly flights.

For European network, THAI operates Bangkok–Amsterdam route with 7 weekly flights, supporting travel between Thailand and the Netherlands, as well as onward connections to major cities across Europe. THAI will also increase frequencies on Bangkok–Munich route to 10 weekly flights, Bangkok–Zurich to 11 weekly flights, and Bangkok–Paris to 14 weekly flights.

In line with THAI’s continued expansion of its Asian network, THAI will resume services on Bangkok–Xiamen route with 4 weekly flights, providing passengers with greater travel options and convenience.

Beyond network expansion, THAI continues to develop products tailored to meet the diverse needs of passengers. One such initiative is “Junior Sky Explorers,” a programme for children and families that combines learning with aviation through content and activities on IFE system, products and souvenirs from THAI Sky Shop, as well as new products designed for children. The programme is part of THAI’s efforts to create a more engaging travel experience for younger passengers.

In terms of travel service, Royal Orchid Holidays (ROH) is offering immersive travel programmes to Pakistan, covering natural attractions, cultural heritage, historical sites, and carefully selected local experiences. The programmes are designed to connect the flight experience with enriching experiences at the destination, offering a more comprehensive travel journey.
