Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (SET: THAI) has announced an update on the handling of delayed passenger baggage resulting from the recent heavy rainfall and flooding, which affected ground handling operations at Suvarnabhumi Airport and caused delays in baggage sorting and delivery processes.
Over the past two days, THAI has deployed additional personnel to increase operational capacity and expedite the resolution of the situation.
For passenger baggage that has been delayed during the past two days and has already been registered with THAI, the company will begin delivering the baggage to passengers progressively from this afternoon.

The staff will contact passengers by telephone or email to verify their information before arranging baggage delivery.
THAI stated that the company sincerely apologizes to passengers for the inconvenience and disruption caused by the situation. THAI continues to expedite the handling of delayed baggage to ensure that it is delivered to passengers as quickly as possible.
