DELTA Rises 2% as Tech Optimism and Easing Supply Pressure Support Outlook

On Monday at 10:26 AM (Bangkok time), the share price of Delta Electronics (Thailand) Public Company Limited (SET: DELTA) rose by 1.92% or THB 5.00 to THB 266.00, with a trading value of THB 2.37 billion.

Finansia Syrus Securities (FSS) has expressed a positive view of DELTA, supported by the rebound in the tech sector following lower-than-expected U.S. employment figures. For the third quarter of 2026, the company is expected to record a net profit of THB 8.3 billion, representing an increase of 37% quarter-on-quarter and 12% year-on-year.

This growth is driven by a recovery in gross margin as supply chain pressure, particularly regarding raw materials, continues to ease. Additionally, demand for AI data center products remains robust.

Looking ahead, Finansia anticipates that profit momentum will continue into the fourth quarter of 2026, projecting a new record high of THB 10 billion. This is largely attributed to the delivery of previously delayed orders, which is expected to support full-year 2026 earnings, forecast to reach THB 32 billion, a 30% year-on-year increase.

For 2027, earnings are projected to grow by a further 41% year-on-year, reaching THB 45 billion. As a result, the brokerage maintains a ‘Buy’ recommendation on DELTA with a target price of THB 290 per share.
