On Monday, Thailand’s SET Index closed the morning trading session at 1,572.80 points, showing an increase of 1.18 points or 0.08%, with a trading value of THB 31.39 billion.
Maybank Securities (Thailand) wrote that the Thai stock market traded sideways within a narrow range during the morning session. Although the market surged significantly in early trading, gains moderated as the session progressed. Overall, the index trended higher but remained within a limited band.
A key supporting factor was the U.S. non-farm payrolls data, which came in lower than expected, helping ease concerns about further interest rate hikes by the Federal Reserve.
However, U.S. bond yields remained elevated, continuing to exert downward pressure on the market. Additionally, there was notable selling pressure in energy shares following reports that the G7 is preparing to release oil reserves.
In the afternoon session, the market is expected to continue trading within a defined range, with resistance at 1,580 points and support at 1,560 points.

- DELTA: trading value of THB 3.24 billion, closing at THB 264.00, up THB 3.00 or 1.15%
- PTT: trading value of THB 1.78 billion, closing at THB 41.00, down THB 0.50 or 1.20%
- GULF: trading value of THB 1.75 billion, closing at THB 59.75, up THB 0.50 or 0.84%
- KBANK: trading value of THB 1.29 billion, closing at THB 235.00, down THB 1.00 or 0.42%
- TRUE: trading value of THB 1.14 billion, closing at THB 13.00, up THB 0.10 or 0.78%
