Bangkok Dusit Medical Services Public Company Limited (SET: BDMS) has informed the Stock Exchange of Thailand that, on October 16, 2026, Royal Bangkok Healthcare Company Limited (RBH), a 100% subsidiary of BDMS, entered into an agreement to make an additional investment in Genepeutic Bio Company Limited (GNPT) by subscribing for newly issued shares of GNPT for a total amount of THB 170 million. Upon completion of the transaction, RBH’s shareholding in GNPT will increase from 19.9% to 55%, resulting in GNPT becoming a subsidiary of BDMS.
GNPT is a company specializing in the research, development, and manufacturing of Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs), including cell therapy and gene therapy products.
BDMS stated that this investment is aligned with the group’s business direction to strengthen its capabilities in precision medicine and cell and gene therapies, while supporting the development of medical innovations to enhance the quality of treatment, strengthen competitiveness, and create long-term business growth opportunities.
