Market Roundup 5 November 2026

Thailand’s SET Index closed at 1,497.99 points, decreasing by 4.10 points or 0.27%, with a trading value of THB 86.95 billion. The analyst stated that the Thai stock market declined as lower crude prices pressured oil-linked equities.

Investors, on the other hand, rotated funds into the power plant, retail, and finance sectors, amid lower bond yields.

Nevertheless, the market was still pressured by the electronics component stocks, which tracked the global semiconductor weakness.

For tomorrow, the analyst expects the Thai market to trade sideways.
