GULF Delivers Relief Bags for Thai-Cambodian Border Residents

GULF Mobilizes ‘GULF Asa’ Volunteer Team to Pack 1,000 Relief Bags for Thai-Cambodian Border Residents

Gulf Development Public Company Limited (GULF) has mobilized its ‘GULF Asa’ volunteer team, comprised of employees from both its head office and power plants within the GULF Group, including the Uthai and Nong Saeng power plants. Together, they packed 1,000 ‘GULF Care’ relief bags filled with necessities like boxed milk, canned food, instant noodles, soap, toothpaste, and medicines. These vital relief bags will be distributed to individuals and families affected by the ongoing unrest in the Thai-Cambodian border areas. Specifically, the aid targets residents currently housed in shelters across Buriram, Surin, Sisaket, and Ubon Ratchathani provinces. In addition to the relief bags, GULF also provides funding to shelters for management and essential supplies, including bedding sets, dry food, drinking water, formula milk, baby diapers, sanitary pads, and adult diapers.

The ‘GULF Asa’ team will continue to deliver ‘GULF Care’ relief bags to displaced residents along the Thai-Cambodian border. This initiative underscores GULF’s dedication to extending care and encouragement to all Thais in every circumstance. It reaffirms the company’s commitment to supporting and enhancing the quality of life for the Thai people, serving as a power to help everyone get through this situation together.

Beyond this latest effort, GULF previously provided financial assistance to soldiers injured by landmines while on patrol missions to protect Thai sovereignty in the Chong Bok area, along the Thai-Cambodian border in Ubon Ratchathani province. Furthermore, GULF Group’s subsidiaries, Thaicom and AIS, have also played a significant role in supporting the Thai-Cambodian border defense mission.
