The share price of Taokaenoi Food & Marketing Public Company Limited (SET: TKN) fell by 10% to open at THB 4.60 per share, following the announced that its founder, Mr. Itthipat Peeradechapan, has resigned from his positions as Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective 27 October 2025. His resignation follows the civil sanctions imposed by the Office of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) against him and four others for insider trading of TKN shares.
In its statement, TKN acknowledged the SEC’s news release No. 276/2568, dated 27 October 2025, regarding the enforcement action. The company emphasized that it is currently gathering facts and will act in accordance with corporate governance principles, assuring investors that the matter “does not affect the company’s business or operations in any way.” TKN also stated it will expedite the recruitment of a new CEO and director.
