BGRIM Supports Thailand-Korea Business Forum to Boost Bilateral Investment

B.Grimm Power Public Company Limited (SET: BGRIM) attended the “IGNITE Thailand-Korea Business Forum, Bangkok 2025”, a significant platform fostering trade and investment collaboration between Thailand and South Korea. The event emphasized exploring Thailand’s potential in various sectors, including investment opportunities in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), as well as the continuation of projects and policies that facilitate investment.

The forum was honored with the presence of senior leaders from both countries, including Dr. Ekniti Nitithanprapas, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of Thailand, and Mr. Lee Hack-young, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, who delivered keynote addresses underscoring the importance of bilateral relations. The event took place on 17 November 2025 at the Grand Ballroom, Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok Hotel.

This seminar formed part of the main activities jointly organized by the Royal Thai Embassy in Seoul, South Korea, and Herald Media Group, bringing a delegation of South Korean investors from diverse industries to Thailand to explore business and investment opportunities from 17–18 November 2025. Many leading companies participated in the forum to establish business networks with the Thai private sector and to expand economic cooperation between Thailand and South Korea tangibly through new, comprehensive, and modern economic cooperation agreements.

Dr. Harald Link, Chairman of BGRIM, stated that the seminar expands Thai-South Korean business opportunities through Business Matching activities with leading South Korean firms. The forum provided a stage for entrepreneurs from both countries to exchange business potential and discuss pathways for cooperation in energy and new technologies, which will help strengthen a sustainable energy system in the future.

This further supports BGRIM’s commitment to continuously expanding its renewable energy project portfolio, aiming for a total generation capacity of 10,000 megawatts by 2030, and achieving Net-Zero Carbon Emissions by 2050.

The seminar also featured targeted investment promotions, focusing on presenting and discussing investment opportunities in high-potential sectors such as Smart Solutions, with a session on “Investment Incentives in the Smart Solution Sector in Thailand” by the Board of Investment (BOI) and the EEC Policy Committee.

In addition, the forum included a panel discussion on “Creative Industries” under the topic “Energizing the Thai-Korean Economy: Strategies for New Cooperation in the Content Industry” by Thai representatives, and “K-Wave as a Global Phenomenon: Strategies for Success and New Opportunities for Thailand” by South Korean representatives.

BGRIM, as a leading company from Thailand and the only foreign private firm entrusted by the South Korean government to lead the development and construction of offshore wind power plant projects, continues expanding its renewable energy business in South Korea. This is done through investment in two projects: Yeonggwang Nakwol and Yeonggwang Hanbit.

Both projects have signed grid connection agreements with Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) and are preparing for partial commercial operation of the Yeonggwang Nakwol project in 4Q25. This marks another significant milestone in concretizing clean energy cooperation between Thailand and South Korea.
