TOPS Provides Relief Kits and Blood Donation to Support Affected Provinces Near Thai-Cambodian Border

TOPS, the food business under Central Retail (SET: CRC), has expressed its concern regarding the situation along the Thai–Cambodian border, which has resulted in a large number of people being displaced and facing shortages of basic necessities for daily living. In response, TOPS has expedited the delivery of relief kits and essential supplies with a total value of over THB 250,000 to help alleviate hardship in five affected border provinces.

Each relief kit contains essential items for daily living, including canned food, coffee, beverages, rice, instant noodles, infant formula, baby diapers, adult diapers, bottled drinking water, as well as cooking condiments for communal kitchens. The supplies have been distributed directly to the provinces of Buriram, Surin, Sisaket, Ubon Ratchathani, and Trat through provincial donation centers and evacuation centers.

For on-site handovers, TOPS was honored to have Mr. Sombun Sutherakul, Deputy Governor of Buriram, receive the donated supplies at the Buriram provincial donation center. In Sisaket Province, the handover was received by Ms. Narumon Puensaen, Director of the Community Development Promotion Division, Sisaket Provincial Community Development Office, at the Sisaket Provincial Hall.

In addition, TOPS, in collaboration with Central Group, encouraged TOPSTER employee volunteers to donate blood through the Thai Red Cross Society at the National Blood Centre, supporting national blood reserves for individuals affected by the situation and reinforcing the company’s commitment to standing alongside Thai society in times of need.

At the same time, TOPS has enabled customers to participate in relief efforts through the purchase of donation-based relief kits via TOPS ONLINE and the Personal Shopper service. Four kit options are available, including 1) Energy-boosting kits for frontline soldiers and 2) Special high-energy kits for frontline soldiers, containing high-energy food items such as dried bananas, energy bars, soy milk, energy drinks, bread, and drinking water; as well as relief kits for civilians, including 3) Food consumption kits for the public, containing ready-to-eat items such as ready-cooked rice, canned fish, pastry pies, soy milk, and drinking water; and 4) Personal care kits for the public, containing toothbrushes, toothpaste, bathing soap, sanitary pads, and tissue paper. All kits are priced between THB 397 and THB 1,071 and are allocated based on needs assessed at each provincial donation center. The donated kits will be delivered to affected individuals through the Civil Affairs Division, 2nd Army Area Command, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, by mid-December 2025.

TOPS remains committed to supporting Thai society in all situations, with a strong focus on addressing the needs of affected communities through the allocation of essential resources across both immediate relief and recovery phases, while working collaboratively with government agencies, private sector partners, and local communities to ensure that assistance is delivered promptly, efficiently, and in line with community needs. The organization aims to contribute to alleviating hardship and strengthening Thai society, enabling communities to move through this situation with stability and long-term sustainability.
