Precious Shipping Public Company Limited (SET: PSL) has disclosed through the Stock Exchange of Thailand of the disposal of one Handysize Bulk Carrier, viz. M.V. Nalinee Naree by Precious Wishes Limited, a wholly-owned Thai subsidiary of the company.
The transaction was conducted on December 14, 2025 after Precious Wishes signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the buyer that does not have any relationship with the company. The sale price of the Vessel, which includes a 3% address commission payable to the buyers and a 2% ship brokerage commission, is $8,460,000. The sale price is in line with the market price.
After the disposal of this Vessel, and accounting for four vessels ordered for construction but not yet delivered and two vessels purchased but not yet delivered, the Company’s fleet will consist of 44 vessels with an aggregate capacity of about 2,116,819 DWT
The transaction was in accordance with the company’s strategy to rejuvenate its fleet by selling its older vessels and acquiring younger and bigger vessels. This Vessel is old, and therefore, has been sold.
