Mr. Chanchai Pantathanakij, Senior Director of Research Division at Maybank Securities (Thailand), stated that the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) Index closed the morning session slightly lower by 0.06%, or 0.77 points, at 1,270.34 points as it weighted by profit-taking ahead of the long Christmas holiday.
The index was supported by positive sentiment from the better-than-expected 3Q25 U.S. GDP figures released last night. This sentiment boosted most Asian stock markets, with major gains tracking the U.S. market, and the Thai stock market mostly in positive territory.
However, the local market faced profit-taking pressure ahead of the Christmas holiday, during which most foreign stock markets will be closed. This may lead to a slight pullback in the index, while trading volume remains relatively thin.
The afternoon session is expected to continue trading in a narrow range, with resistance at 1,280 points and support at 1,260 points.

- PTT PCL (SET: PTT): Trading value THB 623.39 million, closed at THB 31.50 per share, down THB 0.25 or 0.79%.
- Airports of Thailand PCL (SET: AOT): Trading value THB 562.81 million, closed at THB 54.25 per share, down THB 0.75 or 1.36%.
