KH Academy organized the closing ceremony for the 5th ‘Prep for Financial Advisor,’ a career preparation program for aspiring financial advisors, including a scholarship award of 50,000 baht to the winning team of the investment plan presentation workshop and certificate presentations to 56 graduates.
Representatives from PrimeStreet Advisory (Thailand) and Asset Pro Management (APM) attended as witnesses to this first step toward a financial and investment career for university students.
Mr. Burapha Sanguanwong, Founder of KH Academy, led the executive team at the closing ceremony of the ‘Prep for Financial Advisor’ program, held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at KH Academy Ratchathewi Campus, Bangkok. The ceremony was attended by executives from leading financial advisory firms who witnessed the students’ achievements, including Dr. Somphob Sakpunpanom, Chairman of Asset Pro Management, along with Ms. Maturos Saraneeyatham, Mr. Suphol Kaploydee, Directors of the company, and Mr. Nattakul Arunyakasem, Associate Director of PrimeStreet Advisory (Thailand), as well as lecturers from both organizations.
Dr. Somphob personally presented certificates to all 56 graduates from 6 universities: Chulalongkorn University, Thammasat University, Kasetsart University, Srinakharinwirot University, University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, and Fudan University (China). He also gave an address, sharing three essential principles for those aspiring to succeed as professional financial advisors or investment bankers:
“First, you must be resilient and tenacious, especially in times of economic recession. Second, give importance to seniority, emphasizing respect for experience and learning, since strong organizations rely on teamwork and growth in line with responsibility to build credibility in the profession. Finally, and most importantly, is ethics and integrity. The financial sector is constantly challenging—those who stand firm with transparency are the ones who will have a proud and honorable career path,” said Dr. Somphob.
A highlight eagerly anticipated by all students was the announcement of the winning team from the investment plan workshop, which involved organizing corporate structure and business valuation. There were eight teams (A–H) in total. The outstanding team that impressed the judges and won the 50,000 baht scholarship was Team D, comprising, Mr. Purinut Chouysri, 4th-year Economics, Thammasat University, Ms. Mathurada Gosajan, 3rd-year Commerce and Accountancy, Chulalongkorn University, Mr. Borirach Ungpongphak, 3rd-year Commerce and Accountancy, Chulalongkorn University, Ms. Gena Sillapee, 2nd-year Economics, Thammasat University, Ms. Thananchanok Thongjeen, 2nd-year Economics, Thammasat University, Ms. Ketsarin Lertviluy, 2nd-year Commerce and Accountancy, Thammasat University, Ms. Chalanun Rojanakatanyoo, 3rd-year Business Administration for Society, Srinakharinwirot University, Ms. Alisa Wongsaken, 3rd-year Business Administration for Society, Srinakharinwirot University. The award presentation was officiated by Mr. Nattakul Arunyakasem, Associate Director of PrimeStreet Advisory (Thailand), who attended the ceremony as a representative of the principal sponsor of KH Academy.
The 5th ‘Prep for Financial Advisor’ program received support from the Thailand Capital Market Development Fund (CMDF), providing participants with 12 classes over the course of one month. Students gained both theoretical and practical knowledge, honing their skills under the guidance of expert financial advisory practitioners from leading organizations including Asset Pro Management Co., Ltd. (APM), PrimeStreet Advisory (Thailand) Co., Ltd., OptAsia Capital Co., Ltd., CGS International Securities (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (CGSI), and Mahidol University International College (MUIC).
KH Academy was established to continue the mission of ‘Kaohoon Turakij’ in nurturing young university students towards careers in finance and investment without any charges.
