PSGC-SMO Join KH Academy for Roadshow Event Under Sixth Cohort of ‘Prep for Fund Manager’ Program

KH Academy recently hosted a roadshow event under its ‘Prep for Fund Manager’ program, now in its sixth year, aimed at preparing students for careers as fund managers. The event featured participation from two listed companies: PSG Corporation Public Company Limited (mai: PSGC) and Smothong Group Public Company Limited (SET: SMO), both of which provided in-depth information on their business operations to enhance students’ understanding and offer real-world experience.

The knowledge shared is intended to help students apply practical insights in securities analysis and portfolio management in their future fund management roles. The event was held on October 29, 2026, at the KH Academy Ratchathewi Campus.

Representatives from PSGC included Senior Advisor to the CEO, Mr. Chaiyot Jirabovornkul, who presented via video conference, and Mr. Chanchalerm Chukaviroj, Director of Investor Relations. SMO was represented by Mr. Kusol Sripaoraya, Chief Financial Officer, and Ms. Thanamas Teparos, Company Secretary, who both shared their business perspectives and experiences.

The roadshow addressed key issues relevant to investors and fund managers, including financial statements, strategic and income forecasts, business valuation, industry peer comparisons, business risks and opportunities, as well as ESG and corporate governance practices. These elements are crucial for assessing the long-term potential and sustainability of businesses.

PSGC emphasized that its support of KH Academy aligns with its core mission of fostering growth for the next generation, not only through energy and resource projects but also by investing in education to empower young people. The company values the academy’s curriculum for giving students direct exposure to real-world finance and investment practices, which is rarely accessible to most students, while noting that investing in people is an investment in the future of the Thai capital market.

Similarly, Mr. Kusol of SMO highlighted the importance of supporting KH Academy in passing on practical business and financial knowledge to students interested in finance and investment careers. The company stressed that real-world learning helps students apply classroom concepts effectively, assess risks and opportunities, and understand the fundamentals of each industry, which is vital for the ongoing development of Thailand’s financial and capital markets.

As part of the program, 49 students enrolled in the sixth cohort of ‘Prep for Fund Manager’ were divided into eight teams (Team A-H). These teams are tasked with analyzing information provided by the two listed companies and preparing an investment portfolio management plan. Their findings and plans will be presented to a panel of distinguished judges on November 10, 2026, with the winning team set to receive a scholarship prize of THB 50,000. The results will be announced at the course’s closing ceremony on November 12, 2026.
