Jipyong LLC, a leading law firm in the Republic of Korea, warmly welcomed a delegation of students and faculty from the ‘WorldNexGen 2026’ program, aiming to support the development of next-generation leaders.
At its headquarters on the 26th floor of the Grand Central Building in Seoul, Jipyong LLC hosted the WorldNexGen 2026 delegation for a facility tour and lectures by partners and network representatives. The event aimed to foster greater understanding of international law and business within a global context.
The session featured Mr. Peradach Patanachan, President – Renewable Energy Business of B.Grimm Power Public Company Limited (BGRIM), a partner of Seoul National University from Thailand, who delivered a presentation entitled “Doing Business with Compassion.” He shared the background of B.Grimm Power’s founding and discussed sustainable business practices embedded with social responsibility and ethics.
Mr. Kudun Sukhumananda, Founding Partner of Kudun and Partners, presented on “The Architect of the Gateway: Navigating the Legal Landscape from Bangkok to Seoul,” showcasing the vital role of legal professionals in bridging business opportunities between Thailand and South Korea.
Jipyong LLC personnel enriched the program with multiple perspectives, including Mr. Andrew Lee, foreign attorney at Jipyong’s Global Practice Group, who presented “Inside a Cross-Border Deal” by delving into the execution process of international business deals. Mr. Daniel Bonello, foreign attorney at JIPYONG’s Global Disputes, discussed the skills and outlook necessary to become a global lawyer in his talk “Becoming a Global Lawyer,” emphasizing both legal expertise and cultural understanding.
Additionally, Mr. Justin Kim, a junior foreign attorney in JIPYONG’s International Practice Group, shared his transition experiences from university to real-life working career in “Transitioning from a Law Student to a First-Year Lawyer.”
The program concluded with Mr. Sehun Ko, as a partner of Jipyong LLC, inspiring attendees with his presentation, “Choose What Excites You – A Simple Rule for Choosing Your Career,” focusing on self-discovery and career selection to equip youth for the challenges of the modern workforce.
WorldNexGen 2026 is an international academic partnership between Thammasat University, Seoul National University, and KH Academy. The program develops future leaders through in-depth learning in economic and financial policy—key drivers of national progress—with support from prominent private-sector partners, such as Hoban Group, B.Grimm Power Public Company Limited, Nakwol Blueheart, Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel, and Kaohoon Turakij.
