Tehran Dismisses Reports of Dialogue with Trump Administration Post-Strikes

Iran has made clear it is unwilling to engage in discussions with the United States following recent joint military actions by the US and Israel. The statement comes after speculation in the media suggested Iranian authorities were seeking renewed diplomatic contact with Washington.

Ali Larijani, who heads Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, addressed this issue in a statement posted on X, where he firmly rejected claims that Tehran had pursued negotiations with the US government.

The remark came after a series of major airstrikes by U.S. and Israeli forces targeting Iran. The operations resulted in the deaths of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and several senior officials. Iran has retaliated with several missiles to countries with U.S. military bases, claiming that Tehran is not the one with aggression in this war.
