Market Outlook and Forward Bookings: Mr. Puttipong stated that, “The European tourist market recorded consistent growth over the past year, averaging approximately 11 percent. According to the International Air Transport Association (IATA), as of January 2026, global Revenue Passenger Kilometer (RPK) grew by 3.8 percent, with the Asia-Pacific region outperforming at 4.4 percent. He cautioned, however, that ongoing geopolitical tensions could affect international travel demand in the near term.
The company is closely monitoring the situation and will continue to adjust its operational strategies to maintain seamless and efficient service for passengers. As of 16 March 2026, the company’s advance bookings for travel between April and September 2026 increased by 1 percent year-on-year. Specifically, Q2 2026 advance bookings declined by 3 percent, while Q3 2026 bookings grew by a robust 9 percent.

The project aims to raise annual passenger capacity to 6 million, expand boarding gates from 7 to 11, enlarge commercial space to 4,000 square meters, and add 40 check-in points, including self-service kiosks. The project is scheduled for completion in 2030.
At Trat Airport, the runway extension to 2,000 meters has been completed. Construction of a new taxiway and three aircraft parking stands capable of accommodating jet aircraft such as the Airbus A320 is currently underway, with completion expected within one year.
Fleet Expansion: Bangkok Airways expects to operate between 22 and 26 aircraft in 2026. The current fleet comprises one Airbus A320, eleven Airbus A319s, and ten ATR 72-600s. The airline has placed an order for twelve new ATR 72-600 aircraft, with the first two deliveries scheduled for Q4 2026 and the remainder to follow through 2028.
ESG Commitment: Mr. Puttipong reaffirmed that “The company’s commitment to ESG principles across all three dimensions in 2026. On the Environmental front, Bangkok Airways continues to advance its “Low Carbon Skies by Bangkok Airways” initiative. Key efforts include the pilot deployment of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) on commercial flights and active support for government policies promoting SAF adoption, as part of the airline’s broader goal of achieving Net Zero Carbon Emissions by 2050. The company is also pursuing fuel-efficiency programs, increased recycling and upcycling, improved end-of-life waste management, and greater use of eco-friendly products across its operations.
On the Social front, the airline remains committed to developing its people and supporting communities across five dimensions: economy, society, education, environment, and health, guided by the philosophy “Care for People, Grow Together.” Flagship initiatives include educational support programs and the Bangkok Airways Boutique Series, which promotes sports tourism and stimulates local economic activity.
On Governance, Bangkok Airways upholds strong corporate governance standards, as evidenced by its “Very Good” rating in the 2025 Corporate Governance Report (CGR) survey, an “A” rating from the SET ESG Ratings, and the ASOCIO Award 2025 for Cybersecurity Excellence. The company continues to strengthen product and service quality, deepen supplier partnerships, foster innovation, and disclose sustainability information in accordance with international reporting standards.”
