KH Legal Aid Offers Public Seminar Dissecting Legal Ramifications From High-Profile Personal Shopper Case

KH Academy is continuing its core mission of ‘Kaohoon Turakij’ to contribute to the improvement of Thai society by organizing social legal education projects under the KH Legal Aid initiative. This program aims to enhance public understanding of individual rights and duties, while mitigating the risk of inadvertent legal violations through educational seminars.

For July, KH Legal Aid invites university students and the general public to expand their legal knowledge through the seminar titled “From Airport to Courtroom: Legal Lessons from High-Profile Personal Shopper Case.” This session responds to ongoing public debate and scrutiny regarding the impact of personal shopping services on the airline industry. Attendees will delve into real case studies, analyzing the legal implications that have significant ramifications for those involved in the personal shopper business and for the aviation sector as a whole.

The seminar will address common misconceptions, focusing particularly on whether claiming ignorance can be considered a credible defense in court, and will outline preventive measures to avoid becoming an unwitting party to illegal activities. Participants will receive guidance on how to recognize and steer clear of practices that may transform a seemingly innocent personal shopping act into an unintended legal liability. The keynote expert for the session is Mr. Wuttichai Phumsanguan, an expert public prosecutor.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at KH Academy Ratchathewi Campus, conveniently located near BTS Ratchathewi station. Registration is free and can be completed via the KH Academy application starting today.

For additional information, participants may contact the KH Academy Facebook page or connect via Line @khacademy. Attendees are kindly requested to avoid driving personal vehicles to the event due to limited parking facilities.
