ADVANC Reports THB13.7 Billion of Profit in 2Q26 With Resilient Revenue Gain and Digital Infrastructure Push

AIS discloses operating performance for Q2 2026, reporting total revenue of 56,497 million baht and a net profit of 13,716 million baht. The company maintained performance in line with guidance by focusing on product and service quality while enhancing digital experiences to meet the needs of all customer segments. This performance came amid economic challenges, geopolitical conflicts, and ongoing wars overseas, which contributed to a slowdown in global purchasing power, before overall conditions began to improve in June.

During the quarter, AIS continued to advance strategy toward becoming a comprehensive Intelligent Infrastructure provider by strengthening core businesses and expanding new growth opportunities. The Mobile Business focused on growing high-quality customer base and increasing 5G adoption, while the Fixed Broadband Business continued to develop Smart Living innovations to create value and enhance the in-home experience. The Enterprise Business supported Thai enterprises in their AI Transformation, alongside the expansion of digital lifestyle opportunities through the retail, entertainment, and digital financial services businesses. These strategic initiatives were reflected in the resilient performance of each business segment amid challenging market conditions.

 

Mobile Business: Expanding a high-quality customer base and increasing 5G adoption. The total mobile subscriber base reached 47.1 million, driven by growth in both prepaid and postpaid subscribers, reflecting the Company’s continued focus on acquiring and retaining high-quality customers. AIS also maintained stringent identity verification requirements for new SIM registrations to further enhance customer security.

The number of 5G users reached 19.7 million, an increase by 1.2 million from Q1 2026. As a result, mobile service revenue grew by 6% YoY, maintaining AIS’s leadership in the telecommunications industry.

 

Fixed Broadband Business: Advancing Smart Living innovations to create value for every household. AIS 3BB FIBRE3 had a total of 5.3 million fixed broadband subscribers. Amid economic challenges, the company continued to expand customer base through value-driven packages while developing Smart Living products and services to enhance home experience. As a result, fixed broadband revenue grew by 7.9% YoY, reinforcing AIS’s leadership in the fixed broadband market.

 

Enterprise Business: Supporting Thai enterprises in their AI Transformation. Enterprise revenue grew by 2.8% from Q2 2025, driven mainly by enterprise data networks, cloud services, and data center services. While enterprise customers remained cautious in their spending amid economic uncertainty, AIS continued to develop comprehensive digital infrastructure to support the AI Transformation of Thai enterprises, enable investment and the expansion of global technology companies, and support the continued growth of the AI industry.

 

Retail Business: Enhancing the end-to-end digital lifestyle shopping experience through Omnichannel. The Retail Business grew by 1% from the previous quarter, driven by the company’s focus on establishing new service standards and elevating the smart device shopping experience under the concept “Products Available Wherever You Are.” Through Omnichannel platform and Fast Delivery service, AIS can deliver products to customers within three hours across Bangkok. The company also offers a diverse range of digital lifestyle products, including accessories under the LINK UP brand, to address evolving consumer behaviors and needs.

 

Entertainment Business: Delivering a comprehensive Sport & Entertainment experience. AIS continued to strengthen Content Ecosystem across sports and entertainment. Most recently, the company launched the new PLAY ALL package, bringing together marquee global content in a single package, including the Bundesliga, NBA, NFL, ATP, LPGA, and Premier Sports, as well as entertainment content from leading OTT platforms. AIS also strengthened sports content portfolio through a four-year partnership with UC3 to broadcast UEFA football competitions, addressing the needs of viewers across every digital lifestyle.

 

Digital Financial Services Business: Extending digital capabilities to improve access to financial services. AIS continued to advance digital financial services business through a partnership with Krungthai Bank and OR to launch “CLICX,” Thailand’s first virtual bank. AIS will contribute network capabilities, security expertise, and digital experience to support the development of financial services that meet customer needs and improve accessibility.

From the sustainable of reveneu growth with greater operational efficiency across diversified digital businesses, together with effective cost discipline, helped mitigate the impact of rising energy costs. As a result, AIS delivered growth in core service revenue and EBITDA, exceeding guidance, while reaffirmed the guidance for core service evenue growth at 3–5% and EBITDA growth 2-4%.

For 2026, AIS will continue to operate and expand businesses under a capital expenditure framework of 30,000–35,000 million baht. These investments will further enhance the company’s Intelligent Digital Infrastructure, lay the foundation for the digital ecosystem of the future, strengthen Thailand’s competitiveness, and support the country’s advancement toward a robust and sustainably growing digital economy.
