Mr. Suchet Suktae, Deputy Managing Director, Media Marketing Department of ASL Securities, stated during the “Kaohoon” program on August 11, 2026, that the Thai benchmark remains on an upward trend, with a support level estimated at 1,620 points and a resistance level at 1,632 – 1,650 points. This upward adjustment in the resistance level from the previous day reflects continued market momentum, indicating potential for further gains.
For today’s outstanding stocks, ASL recommends THAI, PTG, SJWD, BCP, and CKP. THAI has a support level at THB 5.60 and a resistance level at THB 6.30, with an opportunity for a price rebound as negative factors recede. PTG has a resistance at THB 7.90 – 8, supported by upward trends in oil prices.
SJWD showed strong technical signals, with resistance at THB 10.80 – 11. BAY is expected to test a resistance at THB 43 – 44. CKP has a resistance at THB 2.70 and remains one of ASL’s top picks for the day.
Mr. Suchet further commented that overall, the earnings reports released by listed companies in several industries have exceeded market expectations, encouraging capital inflows into various stock groups. Despite ongoing uncertainty from war-related situations, the bigger picture suggests the SET Index still has a chance to test the 1,650-point threshold.
By sector, construction stocks are showing initial positive signals, including SYNTEC, STECON, STPI, and CK. Meanwhile, the hospital group’s recovery remains subdued, as such the suggested strategy is to gradually accumulate and hold for a recovery.
The power plant sector continues to show strong prospects, with big-caps in the group still displaying growth momentum. BGRIM is another watchlist stock, along with data center-related names, which could increase electricity demand—a positive for power plant stocks going forward.
