Suwatchai Pitakwongsaporn, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Atlas Energy Public Company Limited (SET: ATLAS), the distributor of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) under the “PT” brand, has announced that in the second half of 2026, the company will continue to focus on comprehensive LPG business expansion across all dimensions.
This includes broadening its customer base, increasing sales channels, and developing products and services to meet the needs of a market that is continually rebounding and growing. The company aims to fortify its core LPG business while exploring new business opportunities to drive future growth and increase sales.
ATLAS estimates that operational results for the second half of the year will continue to grow. Demand for LPG, the company’s core business, is rising in all customer segments, boosting sales volume across the automotive, household, and industrial sectors. In the first half of 2026, ATLAS opened three new service stations and added 525 new cooking gas retail outlets to increase access to customers in various regions.
Furthermore, the company has initiated marketing campaigns and leveraged the energy ecosystem concept to create new revenue streams, reinforce its revenue structure, and support sustainable long-term growth. ATLAS anticipates that sales for 2026 will achieve double-digit growth as targeted.
Meanwhile, under the JUMP+ program, ATLAS remains committed to its strategic plan to establish itself as a leader in the energy ecosystem and deliver increased performance. In the first half of 2026, total revenue reached THB 6,254.4 million, an increase of 5% from the same period last year, reflecting ongoing business growth. The company has set a total revenue target for 2028 of 25 – 35% growth, reaching THB 14,958.5 – 16,155.2 million, up from total revenue of THB 11,966.8 million in 2025.
Efforts to increase value and drive comprehensive LPG business growth remain on track, including: 1) Accelerating production capacity through the development of filling plants in strategic locations nationwide—with three target sites already selected; 2) Expansion of LPG and oil mixed service stations, with three new outlets opened in the first half of 2026: Thalang 3 branch in Phuket, Bang Saphan 6 (Outbound) branch in Prachuap Khiri Khan, and Phutthasakhon 2 branch in Samut Sakhon, with further openings planned for the second half.
Suwatchai stated that the company sees significant growth potential in the second half of the year, with sustained and rising demand for LPG across all business sectors. He noted that more vehicle owners are opting for LPG fuel systems as a result of higher fuel prices, while expansions in retail cooking gas outlets are meeting increased demand in the household sector. He added that the company remains focused on its JUMP+ project strategies and anticipates double-digit sales growth in 2026, targeting LPG sales volumes of over 450,000 tons.
