Thai Stock Market Welcomes Listing of Crude Palm Oil Producer and Distributor ‘PHAT’ on August 20

Phatra Group pcl (PHAT), producer and distributor of crude palm oil extraction and related by-products, will start trading on mai in the Agro & Food industry group on August 20, 2026. The funds raised will be used to expand production capacity, and as working capital.

mai President Prapan Charoenprawatt announced that Phatra Group pcl will be listed and start trading on Market for Alternative Investment (mai) in the Agro & Food industry group under the ticker symbol “PHAT” on August 20, 2026.

PHAT’s core business focuses on the extraction and sale of crude palm oil, palm kernel, and by-products. The company sources fresh palm fruit bunches from farmers and over 200 trading partners in Krabi and neighboring provinces, selling to key customers including palm oil refineries, vegetable oil producers, and international traders. The company’s mill is located in Khao Phanom district, Krabi province, with production capacity of 60 tons of fresh palm fruit bunches per hour. In the first quarter of 2026, revenue from crude palm oil and palm kernel accounted for 98.89 percent of total revenue, with by-products and other income at 1.11 percent.

PHAT Chief Executive Officer Somnuk Jantavong stated that the company is committed to developing its business on the basis of integrated and sustainable agriculture under the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) framework, promoting quality and environmentally friendly palm oil cultivation. The company plans to increase production capacity from 60 to 90 tons of fresh fruit bunches per hour and expand export channels to India and China. Funds raised will be directed toward a kernel oil extraction plant, a biogas production system, and working capital to support business expansion.

The company’s dividend payment policy is to pay no less than 40 percent of net profit based on the separate financial statements, after corporate income tax and all types of various legally mandated reserves, and as specified by the company’s articles of association.
