Thailand’s SET Index closed at 1,576.92 points, increasing by 1.85 points or 0.12%, with a trading value of THB 64.48 billion. The analyst stated that the Thai stock market rebounded after having moved sideways-up in early trading before paring some gains in the afternoon session. However, the analyst still viewed the overall market’s movement as trending sideways-down.
For tomorrow, the analyst expects the Thai market to trade sideways with no new support catalysts.
Market participants are expected to monitor tomorrow’s U.S. non-farm payrolls report, as well as the U.S. inflation figures on September 9. These data are anticipated to affect the Federal Reserve’s monetary policy at the September meeting.
