B.Grimm Power Public Company Limited (SET: BGRIM), a leading Thai energy company operating across multiple regions worldwide, took part in Gastech 2026, the global energy platform for natural gas, LNG, low-carbon energy, and AI for energy, aiming to create business opportunities, build partnerships, and exchange energy technology and innovation.
Gastech 2026, now in its 54th edition, was held at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) in Bang Na from September 14–17, 2026, drawing more than 50,000 attendees from over 150 countries and more than 800 exhibiting companies. Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul presided over the opening ceremony and delivered a keynote address on September 14, 2026, declaring Thailand’s readiness to become the “energy, investment, and innovation hub” of the ASEAN region.
Dr. Harald Link, Chairman of BGRIM, said the company’s participation in Gastech 2026 reaffirms its “GreenLeap – Global and Green” strategy, which focuses on expanding and diversifying its renewable energy asset base—both geographically and technologically—while strengthening energy security. The strategy centers on producing high-quality electricity with strong availability and stability, alongside continued expansion of investment with partners both in Thailand and abroad to develop efficient, environmentally friendly energy solutions.
The company aims to raise the share of renewable energy to more than 50% by 2030 and to expand its investment capacity to 10,000 megawatts, combining operating projects and those under development by 2030.

During the event, Dr. Harald Link also shared his perspective in a session titled “Empowering the World Compassionately: Reimagining LNG’s Role and Resilience in Thailand.” He emphasized that energy security is not measured by price alone but also by confidence that the electricity system will remain available and stable—particularly as domestic natural gas supplies decline, making LNG an increasingly important component of Thailand’s energy security.
Dr. Link further noted that developing the energy market should move toward a more transparent and open structure. Fair access to LNG infrastructure, he said, would help promote competition and create an environment conducive to long-term investment, enabling Thailand to build an energy system that is efficient, reliable, and capable of supporting the growth of industry and data centers in the future—in line with the vision of empowering global society with compassion.
