KH Academy inaugurated the sixth cohort of its ‘Prep for Fund Manager’ program on October 3, 2026, at KH Academy Ratchathewi Campus. The course is designed to equip aspiring fund managers with essential knowledge, skills, and practical experience needed for a successful career in fund management, delivered by industry experts from Thailand’s capital markets. The initiative aims to prepare university students to become effective and ethical fund managers in the future.
At the opening ceremony, Mr. Nattaphat Ngouvisitkul, Co-Founder of KH Academy, and Ms. Alyssa Sittiwong, Academy Manager, welcomed 66 participating students from nine leading universities: Chulalongkorn University, Thammasat University, Kasetsart University, Srinakharinwirot University, Khon Kaen University, University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, Mahidol University International College (MUIC), King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, and Rajamangala University of Technology Krungthep. The program attracted participants with prior experience in KH Academy’s ‘Prep for Financial Advisor’ and ‘Prep for Investment Analyst’ courses, as well as first-time attendees, reflecting a commitment to providing exposure across a variety of finance and investment career pathways.
Ms. Alyssa stated, “KH Academy was established to serve as a learning hub for nurturing new talent to further develop Thailand’s financial and capital markets. Fund management professionals play a critical role in asset management and investor growth, which greatly contributes to the stability and advancement of the country’s capital market. The ‘Prep for Fund Manager’ program also acts as a platform for students from different institutions to exchange experiences, participate in workshops, and build connections—forming a strong foundation for future financial careers.”
On the program’s first day, Asst. Prof. Kanix Bukkavesa, Ph.D., CFA, from the Department of Finance at MUIC, delivered an introductory lecture on basic finance. Ms. Warangkana Pattarasen, Vice President of Corporate Sustainability Development at the Stock Exchange of Thailand, shared insights on sustainable corporate development, focusing on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors to foster a foundation for sustainable investing among participants.
The sixth ‘Prep for Fund Manager’ program runs from October 3 to November 12, 2026, encompassing 14 classes, integrating both theoretical and practical learning, with students honing their skills under the guidance of specialists from leading organizations such as TISCO Securities, Kasikorn Asset Management (KAsset), PSG Corporation (PSGC), and MUIC. Participants also have the opportunity to compete for a team-based scholarship prize of 50,000 baht through a workshop activity.
KH Academy was established to carry on the mission of Kaohoon Turakij in nurturing a new generation of university students for careers in finance and investment, with no charge to participants.
