JD Central Announces Its Closure of Thailand’s Operation to Focus on Overseas Expansion

JD Central announced that the company will discontinue its operations in Thailand, effective on 3 March 2023, with details as follows:

Placing orders, JD CENTRAL official store will stop placing orders at 23:59 on 15 February 2023, and for the marketplace, JD Central platform (other sellers) will stop placing orders at 23:59 on 3 March 2023.

Fulfillment, JD CENTRAL will fulfill all orders, which completed the transaction before and within 3 March 2023. The delivery time will be determined according to the implementation of Third-Party Logistics Company and Seller.

After sales service, customer services will continue to provide after-sales services for completed order, which shall be opened until 31 March 2023 through the following channels during 9.00 – 18.00:

The reason for ending the service, the company declared that the action was in accordance with the JD.com’s policy, that will continue to focus on expanding and developing business in the international market, distributing the goods by creating the supply chain network crossing borders and transportation.

Central JD Commerce Co., which operates JD Central, is the leading e-commerce business in Thailand. The company was a joint-venture between Central Group, Thailand’s biggest retailer, and JD.Com, China’s largest e-commerce firm whose revenue ranked 3rd in the world.
