On 19 December 2025, Mr. Narit Therdsteerasukdi, Secretary General of the Board of Investment (BOI), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Mr. Yongwei Zhang, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of China Electric Vehicle 100 (China EV100), a think tank and an organization that plays a key role in shaping the Chinese government’s electric vehicle industry policies. This marked the first MOU that China EV100 has signed with a country in ASEAN.
