“Anne” Jakkaphong Steps Down from JKN’s CEO after Allegation on Falsifying Earnings Report

On Friday, JKN Global Group Public Company Limited (SET: JKN) has informed the Stock Exchange of Thailand that it has acknowledged the allegation made by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of Thailand regarding falsified financial statements, and is currently in the process of reviewing the relevant details in order to determine an appropriate course of action in accordance with legal procedures.

The SEC alleged wrongdoing by three persons, namely: (1) the company itself; (2) Jakkaphong “Anne” Jakrajutatip; and (3) Pimauma Jakrajutatip, and referred the matter to the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) for allegedly jointly committing or consenting to the inclusion of false information and/or the preparation of incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading financial statements for the fiscal year 2023 and accounting documents for the first quarter of 2024.

Following the files of complaint, the company CEO Jakkaphong Jakrajutatip and Director Pimauma Jakrajutatip have submitted their resignation letters to the company, resigning from their positions as directors, subcommittee members, and executives of the company, effective from June 5, 2025, onwards. The company will convene a Board of Directors meeting to pass resolutions on the related matters accordingly.

Furthermore, JKN is currently undergoing a special audit conducted by Dr. Virach & Associates Office Co., Ltd. (an independent auditor) to verify the existence of the licensed programs and the creditors in respect of license fees, as mentioned in the complaint, and expects the independent auditor to complete the audit soon.
