B.Grimm Acquires Italian 218MW Battery Energy Storage System Business

B.Grimm Power Public Company Limited (SET: BGRIM) has informed the Stock Exchange of Thailand that on 27 June 2025, RES Company Sicilia S.r.l. (RES Company), a subsidiary, has acquired 100% of the total issued shares of Apulia Green Energy 01 S.r.l. (Apulia), a company incorporated under laws of the Republic of Italy, from LT Service S.r.l., (LT Service) who is not a connected person, with the total consideration of EUR 10,000.

Apulia is developing a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project with 218 MW installed capacity located in the South of the Republic of Italy.

Furthermore, RES Company and LT Service has jointly established a new subsidiary named Cerignola BESS S.r.l. (Cerignola) in the Republic of Italy, for undertaking BESS development business with 378 MW installed capacity located in the South of the Republic of Italy, with a registered capital of EUR 10,000, held 51% by RES Company and 49% by LT Service.

BGRIM’s initiative in battery energy storage is part of a broader strategy to expand its renewable energy portfolio and to enhance energy security. The acquisition of 100% of the shares of Apulia and the establishment of a new subsidiary in the Republic of Italy would increase BGRIM’s total energy storage capacity under development to approximately 600 MW.
