B.Grimm Commences Operation of S.Korea’s Gasan 1 Onshore Wind Farm

B.Grimm Power Public Company Limited (SET: BGRIM) has informed the Stock Exchange of Thailand of the successful commencement of full commercial operation of the 19.2 MW Gasan 1 Onshore Wind Power Project (the Gasan 1 Project), located in Jeongseon, Gangwon-do, Republic of Korea, effective 20 June 2025.

Developed through its associates, KOPOS Co., Ltd. 1, the project comprises four wind turbines—each with a capacity of 4.8 MW—and marks a significant milestone as B.Grimm Power’s first onshore wind power project in the Republic of Korea.

The Gasan 1 Project forms part of KOPOS’s broader renewable energy development initiative under a grid connection agreement with Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO).

The Gasan 1 Project is supported by a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) under the RE100 framework with SK Innovation Co., Ltd.—a core subsidiary of SK Group, South Korea’s second-largest conglomerate by assets, and rated AA by professional credit agencies.

Under this PPA, 100% of the project’s electricity output will be sold to SK Innovation Co., Ltd. at a fixed tariff of KRW 181 (THB 4.3) per kWh, ensuring sustainable revenue over the long-term contract duration.

In parallel with B.Grimm Power’s onshore and offshore wind initiatives, KOPOS has also been operating 23.5 MWp of solar photovoltaic (PV) projects in Jeongseon, Gangwon-do, Republic of Korea, alongside with B.Grimm Power’s investment in the 99 MW Saemangeum Sebit Power Solar Project, which holds a 20-year Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) sale and purchase with Korea Midland Power Co., Ltd.2.

These projects are underpinned by long-term, 20-year Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) sale and purchase contracts, further strengthening B.Grimm Power’s diversified renewable energy portfolio and proven execution track record in the Republic of Korea.

The Gasan 1 Project represents a significant advancement in B.Grimm Power’s strategic support for the country’s renewable energy policy. It also lays the foundation for a growing pipeline of wind power projects being developed across the region

This latest achievement reinforces B.Grimm Power’s commitment to building a globally diversified renewable energy platform. B.Grimm Power continues to actively pursue high potential opportunities across strategic markets, including the Republic of Korea, Japan, the United States, Thailand, and select countries in Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East— fully aligned with its long-term vision of sustainable, inclusive growth and leadership in the global energy transition.
